Refund policy
At Jim Peters Music, your satisfaction is our top priority. We are dedicated to providing high-quality products and a seamless shopping experience. Our return policy is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring that your needs are met efficiently and respectfully.
Returns:
- Return Window: Contact us within 15 days of receiving your item to initiate a return. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Return Process: Before returning any item, email us at info@jimpetersmusic.com with the reason for the return. After contacting us, please wait for our instructions before returning your item to ensure the process goes smoothly.
- Condition: The item must be in “like new” condition—unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and with original packaging and tags. We will inspect the returned product, and upon approval, a refund will be issued for the amount paid, excluding initial delivery fees. Refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 business days of receiving the returned product in its original condition.
- Return Address: Mark the package as a return and send it to: Jim Peters Music, 1249 Rue du Sussex #1029, Montreal QC H3H 2A1, Canada. Include a note with your name, order number, email address, and requested action. We will notify you via email upon receipt of the return, and no action will be taken until then.
- International Returns: Mark the package as a return and declare its value accurately to minimize customs duties and taxes. Choose a shipping method with tracking and insurance. Fees incurred for receiving the return will be deducted from the refund.

Exchanges:
- Process: We do not offer direct exchanges. Please return the item for a refund and place a new order. Please note that items returned for exchange will be refunded, and a new order must be placed separately.
Defective Items:
- Contact us within 15 days of receiving the defective product at info@jimpetersmusic.com. Include clear photos, your order number, and any relevant details. We aim to resolve issues with defective items within 10 to 15 business days of receiving your claim. Do not return the item unless instructed.

Lost or Damaged Packages:
- If you believe your package is lost or if it arrives damaged, please contact us at info@jimpetersmusic.com within 15 days of the estimated delivery date or receipt of the package. If your package is damaged, include clear photos, your order number, and any relevant details. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
